Trauma Center FTW... not too shabby on the title suggestions for the post hehe...
can't wait to do co-op with a pal
Word of the street. @ Sep 11th 2007 12:15AM
The title is well weird for this game, I mean you suppose to be a doctor and your job is to save the lives of your patients so why the hell is called a new blood? I mean what kind of people are working in that hospital?, Vampires?, If it was a gory horror game Ok but wouldn't be better if it was Called Trauma Center :Emergency Room or Truma Center:Code Blue?
Also I will like to point out how under rated is Trauma Center, really why not more people play this game?
Ocho @ Sep 11th 2007 12:34AM
I'm sure it's a perfectly good game, but I'm not going to the hospital unless I absolutely need to.
psaakyrn @ Sep 11th 2007 12:36AM
New blood is also a term for newcomer, and meant to be a pun. None of your suggestions are punny enough to meet expectations.
Synner @ Sep 11th 2007 4:53AM
WOTS I feel dumber every time I read one of your posts. You should spend less time on joystiq and maybe go read a book ar something.
MED @ Sep 11th 2007 1:19AM
i like how the nurse sugests what might be wrong and the doctor say "that dosnt sound good" like hes never heard of the disease so he just decides to cut her open. i think id rather my doctor know what the other people in the operating room are talking about
Jonny @ Sep 11th 2007 2:01AM
Two player Trauma Center FTW!!!
Kat2 @ Sep 11th 2007 2:03AM
Oh sure, nothing for us DS owners...
Kye (NDF - Earth Ring) @ Sep 11th 2007 5:29AM
This is a must-get for me.
Can't wait to play 2 player with my fiance (she's a nurse)
At least this time she can be first player and tell me what to do.
Kye (NDF - Earth Ring) @ Sep 11th 2007 5:31AM
... btu if she's anything like me she'll be screaming at the tv for the inconsistencies between the game and real life.
Screaming at inatimate objects! FTW!
Kye (NDF - Earth Ring) @ Sep 11th 2007 6:42AM
I know it's ony Tuesday but f*ck it, the weekly webcomic wrapup had better include at least the first two:

http://www.vgcats.com/comics/
http://www.godmodeonline.com/
WiNG @ Sep 11th 2007 7:13AM
all three of those are hilarious
DBuck_Eye @ Sep 11th 2007 7:38AM
What ever happened to "Today's Most Watched Video?" I miss that guy...
hvnlysoldr (NDF - Wind Ring) @ Sep 11th 2007 10:09AM
They changed Watched into other adjectives. It's more [insert adjective] that way.
megaStryke @ Sep 11th 2007 10:26AM
I love how haphazardly you can suture wounds in these games. The needle can fly all over the fucking place and still close incisions with no problem. It's like these doctors have epileptic seizures right in the middle of open-heart surgery and pretend not to notice.
Crono (NDF - Fire Ring) @ Sep 11th 2007 10:35AM
Thats the best part of this game.
"Oh Crap he's got 15 large slices in his HEART!!"
*scribble scribble zigzag scribble*
"Whew, glad thats fixed"
I love this game for its over-the-topness.
megaStryke @ Sep 11th 2007 11:24AM
And where can I get some of that magical salve that heals all wounds? That shit is quintessential.
Thrawn @ Sep 11th 2007 11:27AM
"That doesn't sound good."
Uh...can I have a new doctor?
Nurse?
Kye (NDF - Earth Ring) @ Sep 11th 2007 12:01PM
Crono ,does Jody Anthony know you have his ring?
There is some organisation in the NDF you know.
The heart ring is still available.
Mr Khan @ Sep 11th 2007 5:37PM
That's the problem; i'd say there are at least 8 of us, yourself, jody (potentially, more of a troll hater than total NDF potential) Megastryke, hvnlysoldr, Fernando, Crono, VidGuy, yourself, and myself. Yet we're shoehorned into an organization that had 5 members (and our alternative collective alias, Voltron, was similarly numbered)
unless i'm totally off base
hvnlysoldr (NDF - Wind Ring) @ Sep 11th 2007 5:57PM
I'm going home soon so I'll likely have less posts. In that interim I can give my ring. And I hardly consider Power Rangers a suitable substitute. We can all convene at a Webcomic Wrapup.
Abscissa @ Sep 11th 2007 4:06PM
I hope they get rid of that goofy GUILT stuff this time. That really killed the surgery theme and turned it into a shooter.
Mr Khan @ Sep 11th 2007 5:38PM
The world can always use more Trauma Center
definitely up there with Elebits as "Most underrated Wii Launch Title"
