See Snake, hear Hayter in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

You might have heard that actor David Hayter had confirmed his involvement in voicing Snake for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Now, GameTrailers brings us the product of that collabo with a short clip introducing Snake to the plumber, the myth, the legend that is Mario.

While the battle isn't quite the "It'sa me! Mar--" <M1911A1 headshot> "...gurgle" that you'd expect in the real world, it is very silly, which we guess is what fans of the series are looking for. Also, you don't want to miss this clip of Snake wondering what it would be like to eat Yoshi, a thought we've probably all entertained at some point.

I can't believe Nintendo allowed Snakes neck snapping move to be put in the game, but him using it on Mario was awesome.

The neck snapping move isn't just used like that; it's basically a choke move. You can stun enemy soldiers for a minute by using it and not breaking their necks.

I think Mario was in the Guinness Book of World Records for a while as the most recognized mascot in the WORLD. That was of course around the mid 90's.

Whats funny is his dialog isn't too far off of the normal rogues gallery he fights in his own game. I can totally see a MGS boss that farts by flying, or a girl in armor who takes it off to become more agile... oh wait...

Yeah, Brawl is such an overrated series, just like Twilight Princess is an overrated series of games, and Halo 3 is also an overrated series of games (i.e. several games that are all released with the same main title, like all the different Brawl games out there).

I'd actually like to see people list series that they think are "overrated" (NOT just popular games that they don't like) but games they honestly feel get credit that they don't deserve (like i feel that Donkey Kong Country was really basic as a platformer

I know that would be a total pandora's box, but its something i would be intersted in seeing

Also, i finally saw the movies (the computer lab upstairs has tools the others lack) this is hilarious, i had a suspicion that they would set up a Snake is hot for Samus thing

Halo is an overrated series. I honestly think it gets way more credit than it deserves. It really is just a generic FPS, but people treat it like the second coming of gaming Jesus.

Either way, this new information of Brawl is nice. More Snake to clear people's thoughts about how he is going to be in the game. This week updates so far have me satisfied.
